Founded in 1931, Chien Kuo Construction Co., Ltd. has undertaken numerous national infrastructure projects, such as the Shimen Reservoir, in its long history, and is one of the most established and reputable companies in Taiwan.
In 2010, Chien Kuo Construction was contracted to build the Weiwuying National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts, a landmark in Southern Taiwan. Designed by internationally renowned Dutch architect Francine Houben, the building features various innovative construction methods that are the first of their kind in Taiwan, showcasing Chien Kuo’s leading capabilities in construction technology.

- He-fa Trade Company establishes a civil engineering division, the predecessor of Chien Kuo Construction.

- The company is renamed as Chien Kuo Construction and obtains Class A contractor status.
1962- Contracted for the Shimen Reservoir hydraulic engineering project, subsequently undertaking numerous major infrastructure projects across Taiwan.

- Launched limestone mining business at Taiwan Cement Corporation’s Heping mining zone, becoming the first professional mining company to operate in the Heping area.

- Founded Shanghai Chien Kuo Concrete Co., venturing into the pre-mixed concrete market in China.
1996- Established Zhenjiang Chien Kuo Mining Engineering Company in Jurong, Jiangsu province, expanding into the Chinese limestone mining market.

- Founded CKTech Engineering Co., Ltd., integrating mechanical and electrical system services.
2003- Chien Kuo Construction goes public
2009- Receives ISO 9001 certification for quality management system.

2010- Sold limestone mining operations, exiting the limestone business.
2019- Exited the concrete business in mainland China.

- Turnkey project “Chongshi Social Housing” in Zuoying District, Kaohsiung city, becomes one of Taiwan’s first public housing projects to earn a level 1+ label under the Building Energy-Efficiency Rating System.
